This summer at the Getty

Judith wields a hammer and stake

There’s an exhibit of Old Testament manuscripts at the Getty this summer. I’m sure that I need a private jet to see all that I want to see but won’t be able to.

They have also been lent a triptych that survived the earthquake in Abruzzo in 2009.

As the Met does, the museum presents its collection well on the website, at least for casual browsing. More and more, I’m looking to such sites themselves for images to use for teaching, and gratefully.
